- Full-time, Night shifts, 12.5-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe, effective care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
- Delegate patient care tasks appropriately based on staff education and experience.
- Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years recent LTAC or Telemetry hospital experience.
- Valid Indiana or multi-state compact RN license (must be attached to resume).
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association).
- Vent/trach experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ventilator management and tracheostomy care.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
