Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation, including both routine and complex protocols across Neuro, Body, and MSK designations.

• Perform patient positioning, provide procedure information, and execute proper imaging protocol and technique for all examinations.

• Navigate EMR and PACS systems for accurate documentation and image management.

• Provide general patient care for a diverse patient population ranging from routine to critical conditions, including patients of all age demographics, as well as those under sedation or anesthesia.

• Research and safely scan patients with implants such as pacemakers, stimulators, and aneurysm clips in compliance with MR safety standards.

• Comply with all regulatory requirements to ensure safe and appropriate patient care within a Level 1 trauma center environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.

• Current BLS certification required.

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience.

• Proficiency in EMR charting and PACS navigation.

• Ability to work night shifts and meet scheduling needs including potential weekend and on-call requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or trauma center environment.

• Familiarity with GE MRI systems, including 1.5T and 3T magnet platforms.

• Experience scanning complex or high-acuity patient populations, including inpatients and outpatients.
