IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub, pass supplies, and assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures including vascular, neuro, drains, and lines
- Perform setup and breakdown of procedure rooms across a multi-suite IR lab environment
- Operate and work alongside Philips imaging monitors and related IR equipment
- Document and manage patient information using Epic EMR
- Participate in on-call rotations including weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute call response time requirement
- Support an average of 20–30 cases per day within a pre-op and phase 2 recovery setting
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active Illinois state license, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Ability to meet on-call requirements, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call (approximately 7–9 call shifts per 6-week period)
- Must be able to comply with a drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an interventional radiology or special procedures environment (separate from EP and cath lab)
- Familiarity with Philips imaging systems and Epic EMR
- Experience with vascular and neuro IR procedures, as well as drain and line placements
