Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative nursing care for surgical, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, and CT patients in a 9-bed Pre-Op unit
• Perform Phase 2 recovery care for urology, GYN, and same-day surgery patients in a 5-bed recovery area
• Administer outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, nerve blocks, and blood transfusions as required
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR
• Operate unit equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, and bladder scanner
• Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Pre-Op RN experience in a hospital setting
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Strong patient experience focus and effective communication skills with staff and providers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Ability to assist pre-op staff and cross-train as needed within the unit
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
