Contract | Days and Nights Rotation (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for a caseload of 5–6 patients on a busy orthopedic/spine unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG data to assess patient status and respond accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to like units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements (every other weekend) and holiday coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Passing score on EKG competency test
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Orthopedic/Spine or Medical-Surgical nursing
- Ability to float to similar units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of experience in an Orthopedic/Spine or Medical-Surgical setting
- Familiarity with high-acuity, fast-paced inpatient unit environments
