Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 29, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Mother/Baby unit with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4
- Educate new parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and infant health
- Assist with and support lactation needs of postpartum patients
- Support newborn transitions as clinically indicated
- Perform and assist with circumcisions per unit protocol
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech/CPN EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1–2 years of current Mother/Baby acute care hospital experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Lactation support experience
- Newborn transitions experience
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a friendly and can-do attitude
