Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Alternating shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM and 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | On-call required: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Interventional Radiology procedures within a 5-suite IR department using Siemens Bi-plane and Single-plane imaging equipment
• Support Neuro Interventional procedures including stroke intervention, aneurysm treatment, and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) cases within a Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Assist with Level 1 Trauma Center procedures including GI bleeds, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, and nephrostomy placements
• Operate and navigate EMR systems including Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
• Work collaboratively within a team of IR Technologists and IR Nurses maintaining a patient ratio of 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN per suite
• Fulfill on-call obligations including 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• Active ARRT RT(R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional lab environment with minimal guidance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Neuro Interventional procedures including strokes, aneurysms, and SAH
• Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures with the ability to perform with minimal guidance
