Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (rotating day off) | 40 hours per week | 8-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures within the operating room setting
• Prepare and organize the OR with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures
• Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to aseptic technique throughout all cases
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and supplies during procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation and be available to respond within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
• Document and utilize electronic health record systems as required during surgical cases

Required Qualifications

• Active NBSTSA certification (CST) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience in an operating room setting
• At least one prior travel contract completed
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to respond to on-call assignments within 30 minutes of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in plastics, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, or neurosurgery specialties
• Familiarity with multi-specialty OR environments and ability to float across service lines
