Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient nursing care for pre-transplant, waitlist, and post solid organ transplant patients (abdominal: liver, kidney, and pancreas)
• Perform desk-based coordination duties requiring proficiency in EMR systems including Meditech, TransChart, and PatientKeeper, as well as Microsoft applications
• Assist with clinic days including rooming and assessing patients as needed
• Participate in WebEx meetings on an as-needed basis
• Maintain a caring and compassionate demeanor while addressing complex patient psychosocial needs
• Demonstrate flexibility across patient assignments spanning pre-transplant, waitlist, and post-transplant populations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with EMR platforms and Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to engage in both administrative and clinical duties in an outpatient transplant setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Two or more years of transplant nursing experience
• Experience working with the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS)
• Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) experience
