Contract | Travel | 12-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Day Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient nursing care for pre-transplant, waitlist, and post solid organ transplant patients (abdominal: liver, kidney, and pancreas)
- Perform desk-based coordination duties requiring proficiency in EMR systems including Meditech, TransChart, and PatientKeeper, as well as Microsoft applications
- Assist with clinic days including rooming and assessing patients as needed
- Participate in WebEx meetings on an as-needed basis
- Maintain a caring and compassionate demeanor while addressing complex patient psychosocial needs
- Demonstrate flexibility across patient assignments spanning pre-transplant, waitlist, and post-transplant populations
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with EMR platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to engage in both administrative and clinical duties in an outpatient transplant setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Two or more years of transplant nursing experience
- Experience working with the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS)
- Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) experience
