Seasonal Travel RN – Mother/Baby (Postpartum)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: June 29, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Mother/Baby unit during night shift hours
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4 (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Assist with and support circumcision procedures as performed on the unit
• Educate new parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and infant health
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech/CPN EMR system
• Collaborate with charge RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current Mother/Baby acute care hospital experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech/CPN EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Lactation support experience
• Newborn transitions experience
• Compassionate, patient-focused personality with a caring and can-do attitude
