Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Ortho Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a 233-bed acute care hospital
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation
• Float within service line to support facility needs as required, excluding ICU, SDU, and ED
• Fulfill weekend rotation requirements, including Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday night shifts on an every-other-weekend basis

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in MO or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence); IL license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Neuro or Orthopedic inpatient setting
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• ACLS certification (may be required to obtain prior to compliance deadline)
