Cath Lab / EP Technologist – Radiology / Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Rotational on-call required (every 4th weekend and one weekday per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic cardiac procedures including coronary stents and STEMI interventions
• Support vascular procedures, carotid stenting, and device implantations including ICDs, pacemakers, and loop recorders
• Function as scrub technologist throughout cardiac catheterization procedures
• Manage pre- and post-procedure patient recovery
• Maintain a daily caseload of approximately 12 cases per technologist
• Participate in rotational on-call coverage with other staff members

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience in Cath Lab / EP; at least 3 years of experience as a scrub technologist in a cardiac catheterization lab
• Proficiency with diagnostic cardiac procedures, coronary interventions, vascular procedures, and cardiac device implantation
• Active Missouri license or compact license with Missouri eligibility (pending Missouri state license accepted at time of submittal)
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements including weekend and weekday rotations
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility (local candidates are not accepted)
• Willingness to float within service line as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience charting in Epic electronic health records system
• Familiarity with high-volume acute care hospital environments
• Experience with carotid stenting and loop recorder implantation procedures
