Special Procedures Technologist (Allied) – IR/Special Procedures

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite | 13 Weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology (IR) procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of care
- Assist physicians during IR and special procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment used in special procedures and vascular interventions
- Document procedures and patient information accurately within the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support smooth workflow throughout the department
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Active ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within IR or Special Procedures specialty
- IR or EVOR experience required
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures
- Prior experience in catheterization procedures
