Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient population
• Perform assessments, treatments, and monitoring in accordance with care plans and provider orders
• Document all clinical activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in a high-acuity teaching hospital environment
• May float within scope of practice to meet facility needs based on experience level

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Hands-on experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma facility
• Familiarity with high-acuity or complex respiratory cases across pediatric age groups
