Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – CVOR / Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in cardiovascular and pediatric cardiac surgical procedures
• Assist with cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO cannulation procedures
• Fulfill call requirements including 1–2 call days per week and two 48-hour weekend call shifts every 8 weeks with a 30-minute response time
• Float within the hospital system as needed, including to satellite campus locations
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, documentation standards, and onboarding requirements

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiac surgery
• Valid Ohio Single State or Multi-State Compact license required at time of submission
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
• No previous license disciplinary actions or hits on record
• Must be able to complete an onsite background check and fingerprinting on first day of assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred
• Adult cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system preferred
• First-time travelers considered with qualifying experience
