Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in labor and delivery, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Perform fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring in antepartum and labor settings
• Manage patients across antepartum, labor/high-risk, and triage areas as assigned
• Float to postpartum unit to provide couplet care (maternal and newborn) when census requires
• Participate in newborn care roles in the delivery room as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or NCC EFM certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA-issued)
• NRP and FHM certifications required
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience providing postpartum couplet care (maternal and newborn)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to perform newborn care roles within the delivery room setting
