Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit setting during 12-hour night shifts
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
- Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled unless approved time off has been requested
- Document patient care accurately using facility electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and eligible holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic medical record platforms (facility utilizes Altera Sunrise, noted to be very similar to Cerner)
