Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and adherence to facility standards
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care within the LTAC setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or related specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–5 years of LTAC or telemetry nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in long-term acute care environments
