Sonographer – Maternal Fetal Medicine (Echo/Ultrasound)

Contract | Days | Monday–Thursday 7:45am–5:00pm and Friday 7:45am–1:00pm | No Call, No Float, No Weekend Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds including full fetal anatomical surveys, growth scans, dopplers, and follow-up scans for high-risk pregnancy patients
- Conduct specialized fetal imaging including assessment of abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, diaphragm, fingers/toes, gender, and fetal heart
- Perform OB/GYN imaging across all trimesters including amniotic fluid index, inter/intra-orbital measurements, multiple pregnancy assessments, placenta previa evaluation, and umbilical cord doppler
- Assist with amniocentesis procedures and perform cervical length and vaginal scans
- Rotate through ultrasound rooms, work up patients, and complete diagnostic reports using EPIC and ASOB documentation systems
- Scan an average of 10–12 patients per day within a Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
- Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine work setting required
- Proficiency with cervical length/vaginal scans and amniocentesis procedures required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in High Risk OB and Obstetrics settings
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
