Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, pre-term, and postpartum OB patients as well as newborns
- Assist with and support vaginal deliveries and cesarean deliveries
- Perform cervical exams and interpret fetal monitor readings
- Participate in neonatal resuscitation as needed
- Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records system
- Administer and manage medications using Pyxis medication management and Hospira IV pumps; monitor patients via GE Corometric fetal monitoring equipment
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic documentation systems
- Experience with Pyxis medication management and Hospira IV pump systems
- Prior experience with GE Corometric fetal monitoring equipment
