Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 21-bed ICU setting, maintaining standard 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratios (adjusted based on acuity)

• Perform and assist with procedures including intubation, central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy

• Manage vasopressor IV drip titration and ventilator management

• Care for patients presenting with sepsis, arrhythmias, and medical/surgical critical care conditions

• Operate Hospira IV pumps and document patient care using Meditech EMR

• Float to Telemetry as needed; adhere to unit scheduling requirements including every third weekend and one major winter holiday

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications

• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 13-week travel contract

• Team-oriented with strong critical care clinical skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac care experience

• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)

• Prior travel nursing experience
