Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with 25 LDRP rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Manage labor patients at a 1:1–2 ratio and postpartum couplets at a 3–4 ratio
• Assist with and support procedures including inductions, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections with or without tubals, speculum exams, and triage assessments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, OB techs, CNAs, and ward clerks on night shift
• Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring certification or RNC-EFM
• Experience with postpartum care, lactation and breastfeeding assistance, triage, and circulating in the OR for cesarean sections
