Travel RN – NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every other weekend required | Projected Start: 06/29/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU, managing patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on acuity
- Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Perform and assist with typical NICU procedures appropriate to a Level III or higher unit
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, respiratory therapists, and support staff across day shift
- Float to Pediatrics, PICU, or Mother Baby (babies only) as needed per unit guidelines
- Adhere to unit dress code (navy blue scrubs) and all applicable unit policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification – required
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced neonatal environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
- NIC-RNC (Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification) preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR
