Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | On-Call and Weekend Availability Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg overflow, post-surgical, and observation unit
• Manage a patient ratio of up to 1:6 or 1:7 in a team nursing environment
• Collaborate with LPNs and interdisciplinary team members as the unit transitions to a team nursing model
• Participate in on-call duties and weekend shifts as needed
• Adhere to unit protocols for post-surgical and observation patient populations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment required
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted)
• Willingness to work required holidays per assignment holiday policy
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Med/Surg experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• BSN degree (ADN accepted for this position)
