IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Contract | Days | 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub, pass supplies, and assist during interventional radiology procedures across a 6-suite lab environment
- Perform setup and breakdown of procedure rooms between cases, supporting an average of 20–30 cases per day
- Operate and monitor imaging equipment, including Philips monitors, throughout procedures
- Work within an EPIC EMR environment to support documentation and procedural workflow
- Participate in call coverage including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotations (7–9 call shifts per 6-week period) with a 30-minute response time requirement
- Collaborate with charge RN and care team within a dedicated IR department, separate from EP and cath lab
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois state license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Ability to meet a 30-minute call response time requirement
- Must comply with a drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in interventional radiology procedures including vascular, neuro, drains, and line placements
- Familiarity with Philips imaging monitors and EPIC EMR
- Experience in a high-volume procedural lab setting
