Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform and assist with standard ED procedures including Level IV trauma, primary stroke center protocols, and chest pain/PCI (STEMI 24/7) care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech electronic health records
• Collaborate with an all-RN nursing staff, lobby technicians, and unit secretaries to deliver coordinated patient care
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Familiarity with Level IV trauma and primary stroke center workflows
