Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday 11:00–19:30 with rotating weekends and occasional scheduled holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of all items including drills, robotic surgical instruments, and scopes
• Assemble instruments across all service lines including trauma sets, loaner trays, and peel packaging
• Execute sterilization processes using Sterrad and steam sterilization methods
• Perform High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing
• Manage sterile storage and serve as an OR Liaison as needed
• Utilize instrument tracking systems to maintain accurate documentation and traceability

Required Qualifications

• Active CBSPD or CRCST certification required
• Demonstrated experience with High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
• Proficiency in decontamination, instrument assembly, and sterilization across multiple service lines
• Experience with scope reprocessing
• Ability to work rotating weekends and occasional scheduled holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Censitrac or similar instrument tracking systems
• OR Liaison experience within a sterile processing department
• Familiarity with loaner tray management and trauma instrument sets
