Travel Rapid Response RN – CVOR (CV PreOp)

Contract | Travel | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–1:30 PM | 40 Hours Per Week Guaranteed | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a CV PreOp unit with a 1:1 patient ratio in a high-acuity setting
• Perform large-bore IV starts, chin-to-toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to the OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
• Utilize GE Carescape monitoring equipment and Fuji ultrasound; document care using Cerner
• Participate in on-call requirements, including staying late 1–2 times per week as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with BCMA and electronic documentation systems
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication skills for interdepartmental collaboration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior PreOp experience, particularly in a cardiovascular setting
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation system
• Experience with GE Carescape monitoring and ultrasound equipment
