Contract | Nights | 4x9.5-Hour Shifts | Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging across multiple specialties including General, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Renal/Pelvis, Small Parts, and Vascular (Carotid)
- Conduct vascular studies including Doppler Studies and Upper/Lower Extremity Arterial exams
- Provide coverage for both Outpatient and Emergency Department settings, working independently with remote radiologist support available when urgently needed
- Perform imaging across all age groups including Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients
- Operate PACS systems and perform portable ultrasound examinations as needed
- Assist with patient transport and support other modalities within the department as a collaborative team member when ultrasound volume permits
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- ARRT certification required
- RDMS with Abdomen (AB) and OB certifications required
- RVT certification required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens and Acuson ultrasound equipment required
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced outpatient or emergency department environment
- Familiarity with portable imaging and PACS documentation workflows
- Broad vascular sonography experience including Doppler and extremity arterial studies
