Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
- Manage and prioritize patient care assignments, delegating tasks commensurate with staff education and experience
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel involved in patient care delivery
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care within a long-term acute care setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license or multi-state compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry and/or LTAC experience in a hospital setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated ventilator and tracheostomy (vent/trach) experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 to 5 years of overall clinical nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience in an LTAC or Telemetry setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
