Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Surgical ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio (1:1 for high-acuity patients including post-CABG)
- Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
- Manage chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity surgical ICU environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC certification
- Prior travel nursing experience, particularly at large trauma facilities
