Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Alternating Weekends | No Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members across day and night shift structures
- Adhere to unit attendance policies and dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) competency and intermediate fetal monitoring skills
- Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) competency
- C-section circulation experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit
- Strong team-oriented attitude with a positive, collaborative approach to patient care
