Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to a diverse patient population including adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain a high-volume caseload of 12 or more patient visits per day, achieving 90% productivity and 55 or more visits per week
• Perform and document Fall Risk Assessments as part of patient evaluation and ongoing care
• Treat a broad range of orthopedic conditions including post-operative care, joint replacements, spinal conditions, and soft tissue injuries
• Document patient progress and treatment notes accurately using NextGen EHR
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct in accordance with a business casual dress standard

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility to practice in Virginia
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in an outpatient clinical setting
• Proficiency or ability to learn NextGen EHR documentation system
• Experience or competency treating adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with Fall Risk Assessment protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1 or more years of clinical experience as a PTA, though new graduates will be considered
• Hands-on experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions including ACL tears, rotator cuff repairs, disc herniation, total joint replacements, plantar fasciitis, and TMJ dysfunction
• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
