Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12, 7:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting, including antepartum, intrapartum, and C-section support
- Deliver postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns following delivery
- Float between like units as needed to support staffing demands
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for all charting and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call shifts as requested (not required)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (pending license considered for quick-start candidates)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, including postpartum and C-section experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Permanent residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
- Experience working in a Level II NICU environment, including care of infants 32 weeks gestation and above
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
