Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services with a focus on pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
• Perform and support neuro diagnostics and respiratory care procedures within scope of practice
• Operate and document clinical care using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Float within the unit to meet facility needs based on experience level
• Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license required at time of start
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Hands-on experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record charting system
• Background working in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma facility
