Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00–17:30 | Sundays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterile processing functions including decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Utilize all modalities of sterilization (excluding ETO) in accordance with facility protocols
• Apply Sterile Processing Manager (SPM) knowledge to ensure compliance with sterilization standards
• Support surgical services by ensuring timely availability of properly sterilized instruments and trays
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Sterile Processing Technician experience
• Proficiency with SPM (Sterile Processing Management) systems — required
• Knowledge of all sterilization modalities except ETO
• Experience with Epic charting system — required
• Valid Oregon license (may be submitted as pending)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Critical Access or Level III Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with surgical services workflows and instrument sets across multiple specialties
