Contract | Night Shift | 5x8 Hours (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform paraffin embedding and cutting of biopsies with a high degree of precision
  • Conduct microtomy and sectioning for routine H&E staining
  • Perform immunohistochemistry (IHC) and molecular procedures as assigned
  • Process laboratory information and manage office orders
  • Assist with special staining and tissue processing duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • ASCP-HT (Histotechnician) certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on histology experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in microtomy and paraffin embedding
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently within scheduled shift hours

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with automated H&E staining and coverslipping equipment
  • Familiarity with immunohistochemistry platforms and special staining instrumentation
  • Prior travel or multi-site laboratory experience
