Contract | Days | No Weekends | Flexible Schedule: 4x10s (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) or 5x8s | Pediatric Outpatient
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients in an outpatient setting
- Conduct evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning with appropriate SLP evaluation coding
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care and document progress accurately
- Complete Medicaid billing documentation including assessments, evaluations, and plans of care
- Deliver patient and family education throughout the course of treatment
- Maintain documentation using Wellsky and/or Epic electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Valid state license (pending license accepted if approval is confirmed)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a pediatric outpatient setting
- Experience working with patients presenting with Autism, Birth Defects, Developmental Delays, and Language Disorders
- Knowledge of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse in pediatric populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Familiarity with Wellsky documentation platform
- Experience with interpretation services coordination in a clinical setting
