Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered (Variable Shifts)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Variable Day/Night Shifts (Two Day Shifts and One Night Shift per Week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients in accordance with approved medical staff protocols and department policies
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and arterial line insertion
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
• Manage mechanical ventilators and perform blood gas analysis
• Conduct pulmonary function studies as well as cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Provide respiratory care services to a patient population that includes pediatric and obstetric (OB) patients

Required Qualifications

• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Active Wyoming Respiratory Therapist license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical respiratory therapy experience
• Experience working with pediatric and OB patient populations
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract respiratory therapy experience
• Previous experience in a community hospital setting
