Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Variable Day/Night Shifts (Two Day Shifts and One Night Shift per Week) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients in accordance with approved medical staff protocols and department policies
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and arterial line insertion
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
- Manage mechanical ventilators and perform blood gas analysis
- Conduct pulmonary function studies as well as cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
- Provide respiratory care services to a patient population that includes pediatric and obstetric (OB) patients
Required Qualifications
- Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
- Active Wyoming Respiratory Therapist license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical respiratory therapy experience
- Experience working with pediatric and OB patient populations
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract respiratory therapy experience
- Previous experience in a community hospital setting
