Travel Ultrasound Technologist – General / Vascular

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform timely diagnostic ultrasound services for both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
- Conduct abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms
- Perform small parts imaging including thyroid, breast, and scrotum studies
- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
- Provide coverage across two campus locations within the service area
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved sonography or radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT and/or RDMS certification required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience with proficiency in General ultrasound and procedures
- Vascular ultrasound training required
- State licensure as a general radiographer where applicable
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Echocardiography experience is a plus
- Prior experience working in a community hospital setting, either in a permanent or contract capacity
