Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | 13-week assignment (26-week extension possible based on need) | On call, weekends, and holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for inpatients and outpatients requiring cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support
• Deliver care across varied assignments including adult critical care, progressive care, medical surgical, and general pediatrics settings
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to accommodate varied shift scheduling without guaranteed block scheduling
• Float to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location as needed to fulfill department staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care
• Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in adult critical care, progressive care, medical surgical care, and general pediatrics
• Active New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NALS or NRP certifications completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system (on-site training available)
