Contract | Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours per week | Rotating weekends and holidays | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU and Step-Down/Intermediate Unit within a critical care setting
- Float between the ICU and Step-Down/Intermediate Unit based on census and operational needs
- Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients throughout assigned shifts
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's current EMR system (Meditech), with a transition to Epic anticipated in June 2026
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability and willingness to float between ICU and Step-Down/Intermediate Unit as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Familiarity with Epic EMR or experience navigating EMR system transitions
- Previous travel nursing experience in a critical care environment
