Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days — 40 hrs/week, 6:30a–5:00p with approximately 30% of shifts rotating to 1:00p–11:30p based on department needs; occasional weekend work required; 6 weekday and 6 weekend on-call obligations per 6-week schedule cycle

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties including General, Urology, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, and GYN
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures utilizing DaVinci and Mako Ortho platforms
• Support orthopedic procedures including total knee replacements and total hip replacements via anterior and posterior approaches
• Participate in neurological cases including cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy
• Assist with plastic surgery procedures including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities on both weekdays and weekends per the department schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Connecticut
• Demonstrated experience in an Operating Room setting
• Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, and robotics
• Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and occasional weekends
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as outlined by department scheduling needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgical systems including DaVinci and Mako Ortho platforms
• Specialized experience in orthopedic surgery, particularly total joint replacement procedures
• Familiarity with neurological and plastic surgery OR procedures
