Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | On-call up to one shift per two weeks based on census needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting in accordance with AWHONN staffing standards
- Float between units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed based on census and unit demands
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in on-call coverage, including low-census on-call shifts as required
- Commit to working three of five designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license (may submit with license pending)
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Postpartum experience required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates accepted at a different rate tier)
- Must have reliable personal vehicle for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an LDRP combined unit setting
- Familiarity with AWHONN staffing standards and maternal-child health protocols
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care environment
