Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology inpatient unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Support patients on a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit as needed
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in accordance with ONS standards and facility protocols
• Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other units within the facility as required by facility float policy
• Rotate every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in-hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification required (pending certification accepted at time of submission; must be completed before start date)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Epic electronic health records experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Willingness and ability to adhere to facility float policy within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in hematology/oncology or stem cell transplant nursing
