Job Title

Travel - NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Nights | 13-Week Assignment | Three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a NICU setting, including CPAP, Bubble CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula therapy
• Assist with intubation and manage patients on mechanical ventilation
• Operate and monitor ventilator equipment including Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Deliver respiratory care to adult and NICU patient populations in accordance with unit protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience required with a minimum skill level of 3 in NICU competencies
• Proficiency with CPAP, Bubble CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and mechanical ventilation
• BLS certification required
• All black scrubs required as dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred; may be obtained after hire
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred; may be obtained after hire
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
