Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 40 hours per week | Weekend rotation required | On-call up to 1 weekend per month with some holiday call required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and circulating roles during cardiac surgical procedures
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients
- Float to additional OR areas and sterile processing as needed
- Participate in weekend rotation and on-call assignments including select holidays
- Adhere to all facility policies including a nicotine-free environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Recent, strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries
- Demonstrated circulating experience in a cardiovascular OR setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating across multiple OR environments
- Familiarity with sterile processing department (SPD) workflows
