Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Spine unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 on day shift
- Assist with care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury treatment
- Collaborate with RN and CNA team members across unit assignments, including potential float opportunities
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Demonstrate flexibility, compassion, and a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced acute care environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care Med/Surg or Orthopedic hospital experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Chemotherapy certification (may allow scheduling on Oncology unit)
- Prior travel nursing experience in an orthopedic or spine setting
