Surgical Technologist – Certified OB Surgical Tech

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide certified surgical technologist support within a surgical services department at a short-term acute care facility
- Scrub and assist during OB and surgical procedures, maintaining a 1:1 ratio
- Adhere to block scheduling requirements as established by the facility
- Document and chart accurately using Epic electronic health records system
- Participate in holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Float to nearby affiliate facilities as directed and operationally required
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience
- Active Oregon state license required (may submit with license pending)
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in OB surgical scrubbing strongly preferred
- Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with travel contract expectations and compliance requirements
