Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within Med/Surg and Telemetry units as a float nurse
- Float between multiple Med/Surg units based on census and operational needs
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to arrhythmias
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (currently Meditech; transitioning to Epic)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Arrhythmia/telemetry training required
- Ability and willingness to float between multiple Med/Surg units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Familiarity with Epic EMR or experience with EMR system transitions
- Previous travel nursing experience in a float pool capacity
